I keep things simple by charging a flat monthly tuition that covers both private lessons and group events, and is the same every month of the year.  Private lessons take place most weeks of the year, and group events are scheduled separately, usually about once/month.

 

Tuition includes:

    ♪   Weekly private lessons of 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes (40 lessons total/year)
    ♪   6-8 group lessons or other group activities over the course of the year
    ♪   2 recitals/year

2023-2024 Tuition rates

20 minute lessons (3-4 year olds only): $90/month

30 minute lessons: $135/month

45 minute lessons: $202.50/month

60 minute lessons: $270/month

Most students start with 30-minute lessons, and switch to a longer lesson after 2-3 years.  There is also a once/year enrollment fee of $40/student to help cover additional costs, such as space rental, materials, printing costs, and technology. 

 

Lessons take place in my home studio in mid-town Fort Collins, and can occasionally take place over Zoom, if needed due to weather, travel, or health.

Most students start with Suzuki Violin Vol. 1 and the accompanying recording, which can be bought as a CD, or downloaded here: Amazon affiliate link or iTunes or Presto Music

The youngest students start with a "box violin," which I will show you how to make or where to buy, according to your preference, when you start lessons.

Please let me size your child for a violin before renting or purchasing, so I can make sure they're set up for ease and success from the beginning!  I have a number of different sized violins in my studio, which are available for purchase and trading up as they grow.  If I don't have your child's size available, I will help you find one!
